According to Deloitte, “digital transformation is all about becoming a digital enterprise—an organization that uses technology to continuously evolve all aspects of its business models (what it offers, how it interacts with employees and how it operates).”
It’s essentially a chance to reimagine how business is done. How to effectively put technology, people, and processes to work to adapt new business models and pursue new revenue streams. These changes are usually driven by fundamental changes in employee expectations around digital experience. As employees needs and expectations grow, organizations must also adapt and grow to keep up.
Given the changes brought about by the pandemic and the shift to hybrid-work that has changed the future of business, digital transformation is no longer about whether enterprises choose to transform; it’s more about deciding how to transform.
